Hokonui Community-Led Health is focused on ensuring our community receives the healthcare it needs.
We plan and make recommendations for the delivery of healthcare services within the wider Gore District, servicing the needs of our residents and those who travel from nearby areas to receive treatment here.
Our region includes all of the Gore District and parts of Southland and West Otago:
Who are we?
The Hokonui Community-Led Health partnership has been established with iwi, health, social care, and community organisations, working with the Ngai Tāhu Iwi-Māori Partnership Board (Te Tauraki) and Te Whatu Ora/Health New Zealand, to plan the services that will be delivered by provider networks in our locality.
Hokonui Rūnanga representatives are:
